You were a subtraction of my sum
The genesis of disobedience
A formula that diluted my established equations
I was content with the authority he delivered to me like a Christmas passel
With wisdom vast enough to identify every other lesser creature by name
My nights and mornings were peacefully orchestrated by the songs of chipping birds
I was president of Eden
The masses had a fair share of their dully deserved national cakes
I could relate with them like we were made of same liquid clay
You were made from me, a descendant of my Father’s creation
I knew not the definition of shame so my private skin was left open to the full glare of my subjects
I was king until you showed up like cancer, eating up my essence to the core
Liquidating the assets of my existence
You made me grow bankrupt of ideas to run my kingdom effectively
You said you were help but you were chaos wrapped in flesh
The Jericho walls built around your ears were too strong to grant entrance my advice to your drums
I made room for you in my castle but like the serpent your eyes longed for my throne
We were warned of the fruit, foretold of its sure consequences
And while I was away mending your destructions and erecting the broken spines of your actions
Connecting the cords you tore apart and linking back bridges you broke down
You were busy feeding the worms of your belly with the forbidden
As he watched you feeding yourself to condemnation
He knew he had broken the antenna that passed clear signal from us to the Origin
And with each bite my heart felt the pain
The sound of your digestion was nothing but the GPS my unconscious feet used to track its wandering steps to your presence
And I laying sight of you lost discretion of right and wrong
Hypnotized by your fulfillment of tasting the forbidden
I too had a bite
And as the juice rested on my tongue diluting my sense of power
I lost my birthright of kingship to gluttony
I felt virtue being sent to exile from the land of my body
I grew weaker in righteous strength
My white eyes grew pale and tons of evil were imported to the nation of my bones
I fell in defeat and all my armors broke down like a demolished building
I lost my crown to him
I became friends with evil, shame, nakedness and all other vices infused through one bite
I buried my face to the ground when HE called me cos I was too broken and shameful to look HIM in the face
I lost everything all thanks to you
Now were sent out of our home, left to wander like the very serpent that plotted this downfall of ours
Watching the Origin take our place
Seeing him pay our debts on the cursed grounds of Golgotha
We’ve learnt our lessons and I pray our children fall no prey to this cursed creature again
