BlankPaperz short piece contest now closed
In 100-200 words only, write a short piece on “the person I go love be.”
Submissions will be accepted from February 23, 2022 – March 11, 2022.
What you need to know: 5 winners will be selected, each receiving N20,000. There will also be a long list of the 10 most memorable submissions, which we will publish weekly on BlankPaperz. All winners and those on the long list will be contacted via email by April 1, 2022.
Also, everyone who makes a contest submission will receive an invitation to an exclusive QnA session (to be held virtually) with a renowned writer and activist in April 2022. More details to follow.
The contest is open to any young person living in Nigeria. They could be students, changemakers, aspiring social entrepreneurs, writers etc. How willing are you to creatively think about the person you go love be?
We want to see how creative you can be in coming up with a provocative writing of 200 words or less, while also putting thoughts into your own life and future aspirations.
- You must get your free copy of Z’axis Magazine (for inspiration + this will be checked).

- This is a writing contest hence all entries should be in written form and between 100-200 words only.
- Your entry must be your original piece and not published elsewhere or plagiarised.
- You are allowed only one submission as multiple entries will get you disqualified.
