Tick tock! The clock ticks
It’s about that same time
When immorality floods the surface of the earth
And villainy is being celebrated
Did you notice?
Lies and deceit disguise itself with readies
And we with blurred vision, bow in adoration
Placing our conscience on the auction block to the highest bidder.
Now we grumble and hiss
But it’s about that time
When obviously friends have turned fiends
And our supposed gains have somersaulted to pains.
Did you know?
A heritage sold, if ever recovered
Will take threefold or most likely Sevenfold to be.
We’ve stumbled over this same stone countless times
Yet we still fall with clatter
Its time to toot our horns
For its about that same time
When we have to wake up, make up and decide,
Throwing all anguish to the abyss.
Or weren’t you told?
Two wrongs certainly do not make a right,
Its time to make history lest we go into oblivion
And generations unborn will have only Legends of our ancestors to chant
It’s about that time
Where there is no more time
So stop starring, start sailing.
